    Senior FP&A Analyst The Opportunity
    Our client is one of the nation’s largest providers of fuel, lubricant, chemical, and logistics solutions, with more than 70 years of operating history and a significant coast-to-coast presence. The company supports customers across the energy, industrial, marine, mining, and commercial markets and has built its reputation around solving complex operational and logistical challenges.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, established organization in a highly visible FP&A role with direct exposure to senior and executive leadership.
    What You’ll Do
    The Senior FP&A Analyst will report directly to the VP of Finance and play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business performance analysis.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Lead and support the annual budgeting and operating plan process.

    • Prepare monthly forecasts and analyze performance against budget and prior periods.

    • Develop weekly financial estimates to provide leadership with timely visibility into business performance.

    • Prepare financial reporting and analysis for senior management and executive leadership.

    • Partner closely with supply, sales, and operations to understand business drivers and forecast results.

    • Analyze operating expenses and identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.

    • Build financial models and translate complex data into actionable business insights.

    • Support executive leadership and shareholders with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.
    What They’re Looking For
    The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting and financial analysis along with advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Experience within commodity trading, energy, oil and gas, logistics, or another operationally complex business would be particularly valuable.

    Big Four or audit experience and a CPA are attractive backgrounds but not essential.

    The successful candidate will be analytical, curious, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple areas of the business. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond traditional reporting and become a true financial partner to the business.
