    We’re seeking a high-impact Sr. FP&A Analyst to join our Houston team and help shape financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and decision support for Kirby’s Distribution & Services business. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who wants strong visibility, meaningful partnership with leaders, and the chance to influence performance in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

    Responsibilities:
    • Own core budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for key areas of the business
    • Partner with Finance and Operations leaders to deliver insights that influence strategy and business decisions
    • Analyze results, variances, trends, and business drivers to identify risks, opportunities, and performance improvements
    • Create executive-ready reports, dashboards, and presentations that improve visibility and decision-making
    • Support monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting with a sharp focus on quality and accuracy
    • Contribute to business case modeling, scenario analysis, and ad hoc projects tied to growth and profitability
    • Help strengthen reporting, improve processes, and enhance the tools leaders use to manage the business
    • Build your expertise and gain exposure to senior stakeholders in a collaborative, high-performance environment
    Qualifications:

    What you bring: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities, and advanced Excel skills. Power BI experience is a plus.
