Senior Financial Analyst I - PB Contract Analyst
The Senior Financial Analyst I - PB Contract Analyst supports key Professional Billing and Revenue Cycle workflows with a strong focus on Epic based solutions. This role partners closely with Revenue Cycle teams to deliver efficient, scalable system functionality that supports financial operations and enhances the patient experience.
The ideal candidate brings hands on expertise across Charge Router, Charge Review, Coding, Insurance Follow Up, Credits, and Single Billing Office and Self Pay workflows. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, with regular use at an intermediate to advanced level. This position plays a critical role in system optimization, issue resolution, and cross functional collaboration.
What You Bring to the Table
Educational Foundation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
Licenses and Certifications
- Epic Resolute Professional Billing certification required within 6 months of hire
Extra Skills That Set You Apart
- Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration
- 5 to 10 years of relevant accounting or healthcare finance experience
- Knowledge of Charge Router, claims and remittance processes, and Revenue Cycle operations
What You Will Lead and Deliver
- Designs, builds, tests, and implements Epic Resolute Professional Billing solutions that support Revenue Cycle operations
- Provides advanced support for Epic PB workflows including Charge Router, Charge Review, Coding, Insurance Follow Up, Credits, and Single Billing Office and Self Pay
- Troubleshoots complex system and workflow issues, performs root cause analysis, and implements sustainable solutions
- Supports Epic upgrades, optimization efforts, and system enhancements
- Collaborates closely with Patient Access, Revenue Integrity, Professional Billing, Coding, Finance, Cashiers, Provider Enrollment, and Single Billing Office teams
- Partners with IT teams, trainers, and third party vendors to support system integrations and enhancements
- Participates in project planning, system testing, validation, and go live support
- Serves as a technical subject matter expert for Epic Professional Billing functionality and Revenue Cycle workflows
- Participates in resolution of issues related to report production and distribution
- Actively contributes to management teams and process improvement initiatives as assigned
- Performs additional duties as assigned
