Job Description

This is a role within the Terminals Business Segment providing Finance support for over 10 individual P&L’s.  If you want to use your Finance/Accounting knowledge to help manage multiple entities and work with Operations to help deliver financial results this is the position for you.  The Sr. Financial Analyst will manage the Forecasting, Budget, and Analysis for the entities you are assigned.  This is not just a back office type position, but one that will have frequent communication and interaction with the Terminal Managers for each P&L. To be successful you need Finance/Accounting experience, strong communication skills, as well as Excel and Computerized System skills.

Responsibilities

Business partner to the Terminal Manager. Create biweekly forecasting for each P&L using Hyperion and Excel.  Create the Budget for each P&L annually.  Identify risks and opportunities for each P&L quarterly.  Participate in the creation of the Long Range Outlook.  Special Analysis as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Forecasting and Budgeting experience
  • Experience with computerized accounting systems, financial modeling, budgets, operations analysis and management reporting including writing Excel macros
  • Experience working with Hyperion and or Smart View is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with a wide range of personnel
  • Ability to speak and understand English
  • Ability to work with a team and has attention to details
  • Limited travel may be required
  • The incumbent must meet the criteria to obtain and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC) as required by USCG/DHS regulations.
  • A satisfactory driving record as determined by the Company and a current, valid State driver's license are required.
