Duration: 6 Months+ Contract
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (Mandatory)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to support General Ledger (GL) accounting and financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, experience with financial analysis, journal entries, account reconciliations, and a solid understanding of US GAAP.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting while identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update General Ledger accounts by accurately recording financial transactions.

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate and complete financial records.

• Perform regular GL account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential issues.

• Prepare financial analyses and reports to support business decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and applicable regulations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance GL accounting efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP; familiarity with IFRS is a plus.

• Hands-on experience with General Ledger accounting and financial reporting.

• Experience preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification.

• Experience working with SAP.

• Experience with BlackLine reconciliation platform.

• Knowledge of process mapping and process improvement.

• Experience with financial automation tools.

• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
