    Senior Financial Analyst

    The Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial reporting and analysis to enhance decision making for the Protective Products Business Unit. This individual will be a key player in supporting the FP&A Sr. Manager of Pregis' Protective Products business for management and performance reporting, analysis of critical business drivers, and ensuring data quality. The ideal candidate for this position is an aggressive self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and can prioritize, solve problems, and pivot quickly.

    Responsibilities:

    • Core responsibility will be centered around volume rebates from inception to end, inclusive of rebate calculations, payment preparation and tracking of rebates and their terms
    • Support the commercial team with key customer reporting and pricing & margin analysis.
    • Model/present financial data in a manner that communicates valuable information to management.
    • Provide financial analysis support to senior leadership on key business components and market environment.
    • Leverage systems by identifying and driving reporting and process improvements and/or automation.
    • Lead and assist in the continuous improvement, development, modification, and implementation of reporting systems as necessary.
    • Assist in the creation of forecasts and annual operating plan.
    • Process journal entries and perform reconciliations.
    • Perform other duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

    Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance
    • 3-5years progressive financial experience
    • Strong analytical skills and communication skills
    • Willingness to work extended hours and travel as needed
    • Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency
    • Experience in process improvements with quantifiable results to measure effectiveness.
    • Data analysis and tool experience
    • Proficiency in Excel
    • Proficiency in SAP preferred
    • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred

    Compensation:

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Pregis' total compensation package. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $90-$110K plus bonus for this salaried exempt role.
