Job Overview - Senior Financial Analyst - 34427
Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial reporting and accounting operations for key business partners. This role will own accounting activities, support month-end close, and provide financial analysis while partnering across teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
The ideal candidate brings strong accounting and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This person should be comfortable working independently, exercising sound judgment, and building strong relationships across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Own accounting activities for assigned clients
- Manage month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports and variance analysis
- Partner with business leaders and serve as a key accounting resource
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities
- Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or audit experience
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Advanced Excel skills; BI/reporting experience preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and business partnership skills
- Experience in a large, decentralized, or multi-unit organization preferred
