Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst



  • Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities

  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast performance and support strategic business decisions

  • Prepare and enhance KPI reporting across key metrics including volume, margins, labor, freight, inventory, productivity, and customer profitability

  • Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes

  • Partner with business leaders to review financial performance, explain variances, and provide actionable recommendations

  • Lead financial discussions with key stakeholders and effectively communicate findings to both financial and non-financial audiences

  • Evaluate business cases and assumptions to help leadership make informed, data-driven decisions

  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and financial processes through automation, AI, and technology

  • Improve the accuracy, consistency, and scalability of financial reporting and analysis


Qualifications for the Senior Financial Analyst



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 4–7 years of FP&A, financial analysis, or related finance experience

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to work with large and complex data sets

  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting

  • Ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights and recommendations


Compensation: $90,000–$108,000 depending on experience
