Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst
- Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast performance and support strategic business decisions
- Prepare and enhance KPI reporting across key metrics including volume, margins, labor, freight, inventory, productivity, and customer profitability
- Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Partner with business leaders to review financial performance, explain variances, and provide actionable recommendations
- Lead financial discussions with key stakeholders and effectively communicate findings to both financial and non-financial audiences
- Evaluate business cases and assumptions to help leadership make informed, data-driven decisions
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and financial processes through automation, AI, and technology
- Improve the accuracy, consistency, and scalability of financial reporting and analysis
Qualifications for the Senior Financial Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4–7 years of FP&A, financial analysis, or related finance experience
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to work with large and complex data sets
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting
- Ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights and recommendations
Compensation: $90,000–$108,000 depending on experience
