IDR is seeking a Sr Finance Manager to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role is with a leading organization in the manufacturing sector, supporting the build and expansion of a new U.S. plant. The position focuses on controlling and financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis, specifically for a plant expansion project.
Position Overview for the Sr Finance Manager:
- Owns controlling and financial planning activities for a US plant project, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control processes.
- Supports the preparation of budgets, reporting tools, and forecast methodologies.
- Executes cost analysis plans, including variance analysis and trend identification to forecast annual results.
- Leads process improvement initiatives and manages complex projects independently.
- Builds cross-functional relationships with managers and external service providers, providing guidance and strategic recommendations.
Requirements for the Sr Finance Manager:
- 8+ years of progressive finance/controlling experience
- Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost variance analysis (actual vs. budget)
- Proven track record in building out manufacturing or plant environments
- Experience owning end-to-end processes and leading complex projects independently
- Process improvement and process design experience
