Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Finance Manager, Domestic Compensation Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in headcount and compensation planning, employee-related FP&A, and advanced Excel and a proven ability to lead compensation forecasting and reporting, partner with HR and operating groups, and deliver accurate insights that inform workforce decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Own financial oversight of headcount and compensation for domestic operations with 1,000+ employees, including monthly commission payout reviews.
  • Forecast and report compensation expenses and headcount across monthly and quarterly closes, periodic forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans using enterprise systems.
  • Provide leadership with timely analysis, KPIs, and insights to manage labor costs and workforce planning.
  • Partner with HR to align headcount reporting and related expenses with organizational changes and structures.
  • Represent Finance on initiatives affecting compensation planning, reporting, analytics, and systems/process improvements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with HR (Operations, Compensation & Benefits, Systems, Generalists), Finance leads, and operating groups.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 6-8+ years of FP&A, reporting, and accounting experience, preferably in media.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Executive presence with effective communication and relationship management across departments.
  • Strategic, analytical mindset with sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, own deliverables, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
  • Team-oriented with ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion, Longview, and SAP.
  • Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry.
  • Knowledge of compensation planning principles and employee-related FP&A.
