Sr Field Applications Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work* closely with customers and partners to assist in design in* activities

• Work* with internal owners to encourage support and drive new business* forward

• Manage* daily tasks between the factory and customers

• Establish* and maintain key customer relationships

• Communicate* architecture and design of audio/video features

• Will* assist in the development of audio/video firmware features

• Will* be involved in low level debugging of the firmware

BASICQUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's* in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science; MS preferred

• 10+* years of automotive and/or STB experience

• Professional* customer interaction

• Ability* to problem solve real time.

• Has* worked with Large OEM customers and Partners

• Willing* to travel 50%

• Team* player

• Proven* track record of success

DETAILEDTECHNICAL CAPABILITIES:

• Linux* kernel knowledge retention (include of Android platform HAL)

• Various* device driver Knowledge retention (especially, Display-related* driver)

• Overall* knowledge retention about Android

• ARMArchitecture retain knowledge

• C / C ++* programming medium or higher

• Embedded* system knowledge retention

• Schematic* design knowledge retention

• SoC company* experience

• ORCAD* experience

• Linux* and/or Android experience

• Realtime OS* and embedded programming background
