    Description

    As a Sr External Comms Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing external communication strategies that enhance the company''s brand and reputation. You will be responsible for creating compelling narratives, managing media relations, and ensuring consistent messaging across all external channels.

    In this role, you will impact the company''s public image and reputation by crafting and disseminating key messages to external audiences, including media, customers, partners, and stakeholders. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and manage crisis communication efforts when necessary.

    Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • 5+ years of experience in external communications
    • Proven track record in developing and executing successful communication strategies
    • Experience in managing media relations
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

    The first autopilot in 1914, Charles Lindbergh’s first successful solo flight across the Atlantic in 1927, Amelia Earhart’s landmark flight in 1932, and the world’s first sonic boom in 1947, were all made possible because of aviation technology developed by Honeywell and its legacy companies.

Sperry brought computer technology to the cockpit with electronic flight instrument systems, flight management systems and other digital technology, and Bendix introduced the first commercial weather radar system.Today, Honeywell Aerospace continues to innovate in the frontier of flight safety with traffic alert and collision avoidance technologies, the AlliedSignal Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System, and systems that help pilots avoid severe weather and hazards such as lightning and wind shear.
