This confidential opportunity is ideal for an experienced compensation consultant who can help organizations create competitive, effective, and sustainable rewards programs.
You will lead client engagements focused on executive and broad-based compensation, incentive plan design, pay strategy, benchmarking, and total rewards. You will also build trusted client relationships, support business development, and guide project teams in delivering high-quality solutions.
What You'll Do
- Lead executive and broad-based compensation consulting engagements.
- Design short- and long-term incentive plans, pay structures, and total rewards strategies.
- Conduct compensation benchmarking and advise clients on competitive market practices.
- Help organizations align compensation programs with business objectives and talent priorities.
- Advise HR and business leaders across different industries and ownership structures.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted compensation advisor.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand relationships with current clients.
- Develop proposals, define project scope, support pricing, and present solutions to executive stakeholders.
- Manage project teams, schedules, deliverables, and overall quality.
- Collaborate with specialists across HR, rewards, talent, and workforce strategy to create integrated solutions.
- Monitor compensation trends, regulatory developments, governance requirements, and emerging market practices.
- Use AI and technology-enabled tools to improve research, analysis, client insights, and project delivery.
- Mentor and develop junior consultants while promoting collaboration and continuous learning.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, finance, economics, organizational psychology, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience delivering executive compensation, broad-based compensation, or total rewards solutions.
- Experience designing compensation programs, incentive plans, pay structures, or rewards strategies.
- Ability to lead client engagements, manage project delivery, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written communication, presentation, and executive-facing consulting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Willingness to travel within the United States as needed.
- Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Compensation
The anticipated annual compensation range for this position is $120,000–$180,000.
The final offer will be based on relevant experience, education, technical expertise, consulting background, location, performance history, and overall alignment with the role.

Additional Information
This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days per week in the New York City office. Clients may be located throughout the United States, and some travel is expected to support client engagements and relationship development.
