Sr. ETL & Data Migration Engineer -

Responsibilities: of the Senior ETL & Data Migration Engineer Include: Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to migrate structured and unstructured datasets from legacy systems into cloud environments. Automate extraction, transformation, and ingestion workflows with effective sequencing, error handling, recovery, and performance monitoring. Execute migration cycles, troubleshoot pipeline failures, and resolve data anomalies in collaboration with engineering teams. Validate migrated data for accuracy and completeness, investigate defects, and implement repeatable data quality checks. Partner with Cloud, DevSecOps, DBA, and QA teams while maintaining data mappings, transformation documentation, operational procedures, and migration status reports. Qualifications: for the Senior ETL & Data Migration Engineer Include: Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of hands-on experience in ETL development, data migration, or large-scale data engineering. Strong experience designing and operating advanced ETL/ELT pipelines using data integration tools, scripting languages, and automation frameworks. Expertise in structured and unstructured data transformation, cleansing, mapping, and validation. Experience extracting data from legacy systems, supporting cloud ingestion, and working with big data tools; AWS experience preferred. Proven pipeline diagnostics and root cause analysis skills. Federal modernization, petabyte-scale migration, Python, Bash, PowerShell, and DevSecOps/CI/CD experience preferred. Must have an active Top Secret security clearance.
