The Estimator provides senior-level leadership across all estimating functions for large-scale infrastructure programs. This individual serves as the primary technical authority for cost estimating, directing the estimating team and interfacing with design managers, contractors, clients, and executive leadership to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of all cost data throughout the program lifecycle.
Bachelor''s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
15+ years of progressive estimating experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead estimating role on major capital programs
Professional certifications such as AACE CCP, CEP, or similar credentials preferred
Infrastructure project experience required, with an emphasis on aviation, transportation, or transit programs
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage an estimating team across multiple concurrent project phases
Experience with estimating software such as UNIFIER, On-Screen Takeoff, Success Estimating, US Cost, Timberline, SureTrak, and/or Microsoft Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex cost information clearly to clients and executives
Must be willing to work full time on site in Phoenix, AZ

Provide order-of-magnitude cost estimates in support of value engineering and cost reduction measures

Complete estimate reconciliations and validate designer estimates
Evaluate vendor quotes, bid information, and change orders for cost appropriateness
Review contract documents and modifications to determine scope of work and equitable cost allowances for scope changes
Demonstrate strong comprehension of construction schedules including baseline, critical path, and milestone tracking
