Job Title :Sr Engineering Technician

Duration : 6 Months
Tuesday - Saturday SHIFT
1st Shift: 5:00am - 1:30pm , OT possible.
Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced engineering technician to join our team for a 6-month contract. This role involves high volume, repetitive testing of commercial and military precision hydraulic/pneumatic high-pressure systems in fluid power. The successful candidate will work from Tuesday to Saturday during the 1st shift, from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, with possible overtime.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 35lbs.
- Previous testing and troubleshooting experience.
- Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
- Consistently takes initiative to get things done.
- Ability to make timely decisions even in complex situations.
- Studies and records time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency.
- Requires a high school degree or equivalent with 4-6 years of experience in the field.
- Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Prior work experience in the client's industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in directing and leading the work of others.
- Experience with systematic analysis and decisiveness.
- Experience reporting to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Conduct high volume repetitive testing of hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in testing processes.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve testing goals.
