JOB TITLE: Sr Engineering Technician

Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

Shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 1st shift 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM, with overtime possible.

Summary:
Performs high-volume repetitive testing of commercial and military precision hydraulic and pneumatic high-pressure fluid power systems.
Performs testing and troubleshooting of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Lifts up to 35 lbs as part of testing operations.
Studies and records time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency.
Establishes standard production rates for maintenance, production, clerical, and other worker operations.
May direct and lead the work of others in testing operations.
Applies knowledge of fluid power concepts, practices, and procedures.
Performs a variety of complicated testing tasks with creativity and latitude.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish testing goals.
Reports to a manager or head of a unit or department.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
High school degree or equivalent.
4-6 years of experience in the field.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Previous testing and troubleshooting experience preferred.
Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
Ability to make timely decisions while balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
May direct and lead the work of others.
