RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a Mechanical Lead or Mechanical Technical Specialist on Power, and Energy and Chemical Industry Projects.
Manage Project Schedules and Budgets as well as provide weekly reports to communicate project status, issues, and needs.
Specify, evaluate bids, and perform vendor document review for process equipment such as pressure vessels, tanks, pumps, and heat exchangers.
Perform calculations for equipment and piping.
Specify Materials for process and utility piping services.
Attend client, vendor, and internal team project meetings.
Perform field surveys to collect required field data and assist with interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications in the field.
Capable of supervising, coordinating, and reviewing work of a small staff of engineers to accomplish objectives.
Mentors younger engineers, leading by example. Supports department development initiatives and standards creation/review/update.
Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
Estimate resource requirements of new project proposals in support of business development.
