    TRC Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced, high-precision Senior Integration & Test Engineer to serve as a Technical Lead for a premier high-reliability defense and embedded computing manufacturer in Horsham, PA 19044.
    Job Type: Direct Hire
    Salary: $135K - $155K Plus 5% bonus
    Offering $5,000-$10,000 in relocation expenses
    In this critical role, you will lead hands-on integration and Level 4 chassis-level testing for mission-critical computing systems directly deployed to U.S. Navy defense programs. Working alongside a dedicated engineering and test team (2 Test Techs, 1 Systems Engineer, and 1 Test Manager), you will act as the primary technical lead and mentor to ensure error-free quality, strict ITAR compliance, and flawless product execution.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Serve as the hands-on Lead across daily integration and testing activities; mentor test technicians, manage test execution workflow, and maintain rigorous testing standards.
    • Perform complex hardware integration, functional testing, and diagnostic troubleshooting on embedded computing chassis and systems prior to customer delivery.
    • Architecture & Backplane Verification: Conduct VPX and backplane testing across board-level, chassis-level, and cabinet-level hardware, including SBCs, switches, storage, and I/O modules.
    • Maintain strict compliance with ITAR requirements, quality systems (ISO 9001 / AS9100D), and detailed verification documentation.
    • Partner with Systems Engineering, Quality, and Operations to review test approaches, execute failure analysis, and drive corrective actions.
    Required Qualifications
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) to meet ITAR requirements and defense program compliance.
    • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Computer Engineering (BSCE), or equivalent technical field.
    • 35+ years of hands-on experience in embedded computing hardware integration, backplane testing, and chassis-level diagnostic troubleshooting.
    • Direct, hands-on experience testing and integrating VPX / OpenVPX standards and embedded computing architectures.
    • Proven ability and willingness to serve as a hands-on Leadmentoring junior technicians, prioritizing daily workflow, and maintaining total team accuracy.
    Preferred Skills
    • Experience writing test automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Lynx (Bash/Linux scripting).
    • Familiarity with military/defense environmental testing standards (thermal, shock, vibration) and qualification procedures.
    • Experience using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, multimeters, and iPerf.
