    Overview:

    The Engineering Change Coordinator serves as a key connection between Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams, ensuring engineering changes are accurately planned, documented, and implemented. This role supports the transition of product designs into production while maintaining configuration control, product data integrity, and operational continuity.

    Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Change Coordinator to support engineering release, product lifecycle management (PLM), and change management activities within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Teamcenter, SAP, engineering documentation, and cross-functional collaboration, along with the ability to manage engineering changes from release through implementation. Candidates with experience supporting electrical power products, configuration management, and engineering release processes will be highly successful in this role.

    Responsibilities:


    Manage engineering change data, documentation, and implementation activities within Teamcenter, SAP, and related systems.
    Analyze engineering releases, change notices, technical drawings, and specifications to determine implementation requirements.
    Coordinate engineering change activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
    Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate implementation of product changes.
    Monitor engineering change schedules, milestones, and completion status.
    Maintain engineering change records, release documentation, and product configuration data.
    Support engineering release and product release processes throughout the product lifecycle.
    Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and related release activities.
    Review engineering drawings, electrical schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical documentation.
    Support data management and integration activities between Teamcenter and SAP environments.
    Assist with configuration control and configuration management activities for electrical power products.
    Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to minimize disruptions associated with product changes.
    Support continuous improvement initiatives involving engineering change management and PLM processes.
    Provide training, guidance, and process support related to engineering change procedures and systems.
    Collaborate with global teams across multiple sites, functions, and time zones.

    Qualifications:


    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related technical field preferred.
    Experience working in manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, product development, or operations environments.
    Experience utilizing SAP, Teamcenter, Creo, and Microsoft Office 365.
    Experience supporting engineering release processes, product release workflows, and PLM activities.
    Working knowledge of engineering change management, configuration control, and manufacturing operations.
    Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, technical specifications, and design documentation.
    Understanding of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems and production environments.
    Experience managing product structures, BOMs, and engineering documentation within PLM systems.
    Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
    Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail within complex engineering and manufacturing processes.
    Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
    Ability to work independently and effectively support teams across multiple locations and time zones.
    Strong Teamcenter experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment preferred.
    Experience supporting Teamcenter and SAP integrations preferred.
    Advanced Creo modeling experience preferred.
    Functional AutoCAD experience preferred.
    Experience supporting engineering change management and configuration control best practices preferred.
    Knowledge of electrical power systems, including 480V AC, 208/120V AC, DC power systems, and power distribution systems preferred.
    Experience within power generation, electrical equipment, industrial manufacturing, or heavy equipment industries preferred.
    Ability to work onsite five days per week in Griffin, Georgia.
    Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
