    YOU MUST HAVE:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
    • 6-8+ years of experience in software development.
    • Strong C++ and/or Object-oriented programming skills.
    • Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
    • Strong software architecture and design development skills.

    WE VALUE:

    • Advanced educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
    • Experience in Flight Management Systems (FMS) development is of value, including avionics software design, integration, and verification.
    • Strong expertise in multi-core and multi-threaded software development, including concurrency, synchronization, performance optimization, and real-time systems.
    • Experience managing and/or mentoring teams developing embedded software systems for safety-critical environments.
    • Knowledge of aerospace standards and regulations, such as DO-178C.
    • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and software engineering skills with the ability to design robust and scalable solutions.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative team environments.
    • Commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and professional development, with a passion for staying current on emerging technologies and industry best practices

    The first autopilot in 1914, Charles Lindbergh’s first successful solo flight across the Atlantic in 1927, Amelia Earhart’s landmark flight in 1932, and the world’s first sonic boom in 1947, were all made possible because of aviation technology developed by Honeywell and its legacy companies.
