    Description

    As the Senior Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Developer, you will design, implement, and maintain robust EDI solutions and enterprise system integrations. Applying advanced programming, database, and ERP integration expertise, you will drive process automation and improve system efficiency across the organization. You will serve as a technical lead on critical EDI initiatives, support new trading partner relationships, and help establish the strategic technology roadmap for our EDI-related systems.     What You Will Do: 

    • Design, develop, and maintain robust Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions, enterprise system integrations, and corporate software applications to support business operations

    • Oversee existing EDI processes, data mappings, and system controls while leading the end-to-end setup, onboarding, and testing for new trading partners

    • Proactively monitor transactions to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex ERP integration issues before they impact the business

    • Drive operational efficiency by developing automation solutions using platforms like Workato, scripting languages, and modern integration technologies

    • Act as a technical lead on EDI projects, evaluating emerging solutions, establishing technology roadmaps, and actively managing vendor relationships

    • Develop and maintain comprehensive procedures for EDI file security, data retention, system purging, and general compliance standards

    • Provide after-hours support for critical EDI and corporate information systems as required to ensure continuous operational uptime

    • Perform other duties as assigned

    What We Are Looking For: 

    • 12+ years of overall software development experience combined with 10+ years of hands-on EDI expertise (TrueCommerce or similar platforms preferred)

    • Deep understanding of ERP systems, ERP-to-EDI integrations, and enterprise application architecture

    • High-level proficiency in programming, scripting, database development, and complex systems analysis

    • Hands-on experience driving process improvement using automation platforms such as Workato

    • Strong technical leadership and project management skills with a proven track record of managing complex, independent priorities with minimal supervision

    • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills for effectively engaging cross-functional teams and external vendors

    Nice To Have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) is a plus

    • Experience with Order Management Systems (OMS)

    • Experience supporting large-scale retail, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain environments

    • Experience with API integrations, cloud-based integration platforms, and standard EDI transaction sets (including 850, 855, 856, 810, 846)

    • Proven experience mentoring junior team members

        What we offer:

        The base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for the annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, so the salary range may not apply to other states.

        Our benefits package includes basic medical insurance that is 100% company-paid for employees and their children, employee basic life and AD&D insurance, a 401(K) retirement program with Jazwares matching up to 4% of pretax or post-tax deferrals, short and long-term disability, and tuition reimbursement. 

        Our work environment provides a flexible work schedule that includes a Monday through Thursday on-site, with an optional WFH on Fridays, up to 20 workdays fully remote each year, and Time Off for vacation and sick leave.  Through Jazwares Cares, you will have the opportunity to volunteer for up to 16 hours a year on community service projects.
