Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Designs and develops electrical systems and components for electric aircraft and eVTOL systems.

• Conducts feasibility studies and analyzes technical requirements.

• Ensures compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

• Leads and manages electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.

• Executes electrical circuit design team project tasks and completes assignments using electrical engineering methods.

• Generates Bill-of-Materials (BOMs) for Printed Board Assemblies (PBAs).

• Leverages circuit design, circuit simulation, and analysis knowledge.

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems or failures uncovered by circuit card tests.

• Prepares investigation and test results to document findings.

• Conducts requirements review, power analysis, filter analysis, electrical analysis, electrical schematic design, PBA layout, filter design, EMI filter design, DO-160, and lightning design.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or equivalent.

• Typically 12+ years working with circuit design integration and test experience.

• Experience with DOORS NG ELM for requirements review.

• Experience with electrical schematic design and PBA layout.

• Experience with filter analysis, filter design, and EMI filter design.

• Experience with power analysis and electrical analysis.

• Experience with DO-160 and lightning design.

• Experience with MentorGraphix DxDesigner, LTspice, Simulink, MATLAB, PSIM, or equivalent circuit design toolset.

• Analog circuit design experience and standard lab equipment including meters and probes.
