Description

Constellation Search Group is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer for a full-time direct hire position. This role involves contributing to the electrical architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of next-generation industrial printing systems. The candidate will have a robust electrical engineering foundation and considerable experience with embedded electronic products, working collaboratively across various engineering teams to ensure the development of reliable and production-ready systems. Responsibilities encompass the entire product lifecycle, from initial requirements and architecture to prototype development, validation, production release, and ongoing support.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the electrical design and development process for industrial printing systems, from initial concept through to production release.
  • Formulate product requirements, technical specifications, and system-level electrical architectures.
  • Design and integrate embedded electronic systems leveraging modern SoCs, microprocessors, microcontrollers, and digital electronics.
  • Execute system-level electrical analysis, hardware integration, troubleshooting, validation, and performance optimization.
  • Develop and implement testing plans for prototype, laboratory, system validation, and field testing.
  • Ensure product compliance with applicable industry standards throughout the development stages.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams to achieve successful product development and launch.
  • Aid in manufacturing support, product improvements, corrective actions, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership through design reviews, risk assessments, troubleshooting, and design validation.
  • Facilitate the transition of new electrical designs from engineering prototypes to production.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Over 8 years of experience in electrical engineering focusing on embedded electronic products.
  • Comprehensive experience with embedded systems, digital electronics, and system-level electrical design.
  • Proficient with SoCs, microprocessors, microcontrollers, digital interfaces, and embedded hardware architectures.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience with electrical hardware development, integration, testing, verification, and debugging.
  • Expertise in developing and troubleshooting complex electronic systems and electromechanical equipment.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and technical priorities in a dynamic product development environment.
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines.
  • Preferred experience with high-speed digital systems, communication protocols, real-time embedded applications, system-level validation, verification, and product commercialization.
  • Experience with electronics development for industrial automation, machine control, or industrial printing.
  • Familiarity with electrical compliance requirements and standards for industrial electronic products.
