Sr Electrical and Controls Engineer (OT)

TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer (OT) to support advanced automation, electrical, and operational technology initiatives. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys leading projects, solving complex technical challenges, and driving innovative control system solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced electrical and control systems to improve operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with existing infrastructure.

• Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure reliability and performance.

• Lead projects from concept through implementation and commissioning.

• Develop and maintain design, testing, compliance, and technical documentation.

• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and best practices.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation enhancements, and operational efficiencies.

• Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends within controls and automation.

Requirements

• 3-10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation, or Operational Technology.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, industrial controls, and automation technologies.

• Experience with PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems.

• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong understanding of electrical and control system design principles.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to lead projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
