Position Title: ASP.NET Developer
Location: Raleigh, NC/Remote
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced ASP.NET Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ASP.NET, C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, SQL Server, web services, and modern front-end technologies. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance enterprise applications.
Experience: 6 to 10 years
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and C#.
- Develop RESTful APIs and web services for application integration.
- Create and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, functions, and queries.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Implement responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, or React.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Implement security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Support application deployments and production releases.
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and C#.
- Proficiency in .NET Framework/.NET 6+.
- Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, Web Services, JSON, XML.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or cloud-native application development.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with Entity Framework and LINQ.
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and application security standards.
