    SUMMARY:

    The Senior Director, IT PMO Intake & Demand Management leads the enterprise intake and demand governance function for technology-enabled initiatives across business and IT. Establishes a single front door for all demand, ensuring requests are complete, strategically aligned, financially understood, and appropriately governed before consuming funding and capacity. Facilitates intake, triage, prioritization, and governance decision processes, enabling leadership to make informed portfolio decisions. Facilitates the execution of funding and approval decision-making by providing clear data, sound business cases, and governance discipline to executive leadership and other business stakeholders.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    The incumbent must perform the following functions at a level consistent with job performance requirements.

    • Establishes and improves a centralized enterprise intake process for technology-related demand.
    • Ensures requests include required documentation, including business need, sponsor, cost estimate, funding source, risks, and classification.
    • Maintains visibility across the demand lifecycle from request submission through approval and project creation.
    • Tracks and reports demand outcomes to support portfolio transparency and leadership decision-making.
    • Leads intake triage by evaluating cost, duration, risk, complexity, and organizational impact to determine governance needs and routes requests to appropriate stakeholders while maintaining disciplined, efficient governance.
    • Maintains a prioritization model based on value, risk, effort, and strategic alignment; produces ranked demand lists and portfolio cutlines.
    • Facilitates executive prioritization and portfolio planning by communicating trade-offs, capacity impacts, and rebalancing needs.
    • Ensures demand includes required financial inputs, including cost estimates, funding source, business case requirements, and early validation by partnering with IT Finance to support funding visibility, business case review, and separation of financial readiness from funding approval.
    • Facilitates governance forums and incorporates architecture, security, financial, and risk review checkpoints.
    • Standardizes intake processes, templates, lifecycle statuses, and governance workflows.
    • Ensures traceability between intake requests and approved projects while improving data quality and reducing off-system tracking.
    • Delivers executive dashboards and reporting on demand pipeline, risks, capacity constraints, early indicators, and systemic issues.
    • Measures intake performance and governance effectiveness to refine scoring, workflows, reporting, and demand management practices.
    • Domestic U. S. travel may be required.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance, or related field is required.
    • A MBA with technical focus preferred.
    • 8+ years of experience in PMO, portfolio management, or IT governance, including five years of experience leading intake, demand, or portfolio governance.
    • Experience facilitating executive governance forums, developing business cases, aligning financial inputs, and partnering with Finance, IT, Security, and business stakeholders.
    • Experience with PPM/SPM tools such as Workfront, ServiceNow, or Oracle.
    • Strong communication and influencing skills required. PMP, PgMP, PfMP, SAFe Lean Portfolio Management, or equivalent certification preferred.
    • Experience maturing enterprise PMO functions, integrating ERP/financial systems, working in complex or regulated environments, and developing advanced dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
