We have been engaged in a search for a Senior Tax Leader to lead North America for a large, globally integrated organization. This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to executive leadership and meaningful influence on enterprise-wide strategy.
The mandate is broad: own the tax function across the region, optimize the companys tax position, and serve as a key advisor on major business decisions.
What Youll Own- Set and drive regional tax strategy with a focus on reducing effective rate and improving cash flow
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership on transactions, expansion, and structural decisions
- Oversee compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions, including provision and disclosures
- Lead tax risk management efforts, including controls and transfer pricing oversight
- Manage audits and interface directly with tax authorities
- Modernize the tax functionprocess, technology, and scalability
- Build and lead a strong internal team while leveraging external advisors where appropriate
What Theyre Looking For- 15+ years of progressive tax leadership in a complex, multinational environment
- Experience operating at scale (ideally within a global corporate setting and/or top-tier public accounting
- Strong mix of technical depth and business acumen
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and simplify complex issues
- Background supporting operationally intensive businesses
- CPA and/or advanced tax/legal degree
