This role combines expertise in unemployment cost control, employment verifications, and tax credits with leadership of market enablement, industry education, sales training, thought leadership, webinar programming, conference strategy, and go-to-market initiatives. The position is focused on driving organizational effectiveness and market awareness rather than direct sales support activities. By partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, this leader ensures employer audiences receive a clear, credible, and consistent value narrative across marketing, educational, and customer engagement activities. This role is not responsible for direct account ownership, prospecting, customer solicitation, or management of an assigned book of business. The role is primarily focused on market enablement, industry education, thought leadership, sales training, and strategic growth initiatives and is not intended to perform direct sales engineering, account management, or quota-carrying sales functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as an internal subject matter expert and market strategist, equipping Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams with industry knowledge, market insights, and best practices.Develop industry-specific market insights, educational content, and customer-focused resources that support effective engagement throughout the customer journey.Support the development of training materials, educational resources, presentation content, and sales enablement tools for use by customer-facing teams.Develop benchmarking content, market research, thought leadership materials, and industry insights that support company growth initiatives.Act as a subject matter expert on employer solutions, staying current on industry trends, regulatory considerations, and competitive offerings.Provide guidance regarding industry trends, regulatory developments, service offerings, and market opportunities.Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to share market feedback, support service alignment, and foster continuous improvement.Contribute to the creation and continuous improvement of sales enablement assets, including training materials, use-case narratives, FAQs, educational content, and best-practice playbooks.Lead industry webinars, educational events, conference presentations, and thought leadership initiatives that promote market awareness and employer education.Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and industry insights to inform product roadmap prioritization, messaging, and go-to-market strategy.Support onboarding and ongoing enablement of Sales team members by sharing product knowledge, market insights, industry trends, and best practices.Maintain records related to webinar programs, conference participation, market intelligence activities, and sales enablement initiatives.Consistently model a customer-first approach that reinforces trust, transparency, and long-term partnership.Manage the monthly sales webcast program, including topic selection, effectiveness evaluation, presentation development, speaker and talk-track coordination, registration tracking, team reporting, post-webcast analysis, attendance tracker updates, attendee follow-up, and coordination with Marketing on invitations, Zoom setup, registration pages, polls, and surveys.Coordinate tradeshow and conference participation with Marketing, evaluate event effectiveness and ROI, support annual conference strategy, and partner with Sales to establish and reinforce required pre-event, on-site, and post-event activities.Support virtual speaking engagements by maintaining and tracking the schedule, communicating changes to Marketing, updating presentations for selected topics and state-specific requirements, providing backup coverage when scheduling conflicts arise, and tracking post-engagement survey feedback.Support company growth initiatives through industry research, competitive intelligence, benchmarking reports, market trend analysis, quarterly industry updates, M&A monitoring, annual tax rate updates, and ongoing legislative and regulatory reporting.Lead the development and execution of annual market enablement and industry education strategies.Serve as the company's internal expert for unemployment cost management, employment verification, and tax credit trends.Develop and deliver training programs for sales, customer success, and account management teams.Partner with Marketing to develop thought leadership content, conference presentations, webinar programming, and industry publications.Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience. Advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred but not required.7–10+ years of experience in workforce solutions, employer services, market enablement, product marketing, industry consulting, customer education, sales enablement, or related leadership roles.Demonstrated success leading go-to-market programs, industry education initiatives, thought leadership efforts, and cross-functional business initiatives.Demonstrated experience running webinars/events programs and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success).Experience partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to support go-to-market effectiveness and business growth initiatives.Track record of engaging credibly with senior stakeholder audiences, including HR, Finance, Operations, and IT leaders.Strong understanding of employer-focused services, market dynamics, and industry trends, particularly in areas such as workforce management, compliance, cost optimization, operational efficiency, or benefits‑related services. Familiarity with common B2B buying processes and enterprise decision‑making dynamics.Proficiency with CRM systems, marketing technology platforms, presentation tools, webinar platforms, and business analytics tools.Familiarity with common B2B buying processes and enterprise decision‑making dynamics.Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
