Sr. Director of Enterprise Product Marketing
Work Location: Milpitas CAEstimated Base Pay Range (USD):$250,000 - $290,000, $ per annum
Silicon Motion is seeking a highly skilled Product Marketing Manager/Director to develop and grow our SSDController and Solutions business for Enterprise Storage and Data Center. This position requires a uniqueblend of analytical, technical, and marketing skills. Not only will you coordinate internally with many crossfunctional teams to reach critical business decisions on product strategy, pricing strategy, and budgetmodeling, but you will promote and evangelize the Silicon Motion’s roadmap and products directly to endcustomers through direct engagements and strategic marketing initiatives. Account coverage will include aunique set of assigned enterprise global customers.
You will drive and manage account strategy at both a tactical and strategic level while working closelywith customers, sales, product managers, technical marketing, business ops, and other cross-functionalteams. This is a complex job that requires exceptional attention to detail, multi-tasking capabilities, andthe ability to follow through on initiatives with many internal teams, from the business development stageuntil a design win is completed and turned into revenue. This position provides an excellent opportunity tomanage a dynamic business, utilize your data analytics capabilities, and hone your presentation skills in afast-paced, high-growth environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities:• Account Strategyo Help shape the overall Enterprise strategy, managing complex business engagementsacross all stakeholders.o Outline and develop account strategies together with the sales team and executive teamsto grow revenue at data center and module maker customers.• Business Managemento Develop sales target forecasts, monitor weekly forecasts, and develop recovery plans toensure budget achievement.o Develop and manage account specific pricing strategies, business cases, and pricingresponse to customers.• Product Managemento Will be responsible for definition and coordination for Enterprise Controller /SSD Products.o Will work across cross functional teams for support of owned projects from cradle-to-grave.• Sales Enablemento Drive design win activities and monitor weekly progress.o Manage new customer engagements and sales enablement activities for data center andstorage customers.• Provide marketing direction for development of technical whitepapers and collateral to be used forpromoting Silicon Motion enterprise products.
Qualifications:
• BA/BS/MS degree in Engineering, Business and/or Product Marketingo Multiple degrees in both Engineering and Business/Marketing disciplines preferred.• Must be very proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with strong dataanalytics and presentation skills.• Requires related experience in Technical Product Marketing.• Must have 10 + years of Enterprise Controller or Enterprise SSD experience.• Must be willing to travel > 25% of the time.
