Description

As a Sr. Director of Real Estate & Facilities (RE&F) Strategy, you will have a global strategic role, responsible for continually evaluating and optimizing the real estate and facilities operating model and managing the governance of an Integrated Facilities Management program, globally. The role will drive consistency and practice excellence of IFM in support of Oracle, and with vendor partners to manage governance, controls, and compliance pursuant to the IFM model established. This is a global leadership role that will actively engage with members in real estate and facilities management, procurement, legal, HR, and other senior leadership both internal and with external vendors. This position will support building a short-term and long-term vision for Oracle's real estate and facilities model. You will also focus on analyzing global facility management practices, manage contract compliance, and govern overall IFM partner performance.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $146,300 to $306,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  • Continually evaluate real estate and facilities operating model and implement

strategic initiatives, best practices, and standards requiring global consistency

  • Establish a vision and lead implementation for the real estate and facilities

organization to support a culture of continuous improvement and operational

excellence

  • Evaluate and provide recommendations on service delivery (hard, soft, and real

estate services) across global portfolio and work with real estate & facilities

management, procurement, legal, functional workstream leads, etc. to manage

service level agreement (SLA) and key performance indicators (KPI)

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners and cross-functional teams to

support global consistency and standardization of operating model

  • Provide thought leadership and foster strong, productive working relationships

with internal stakeholders, strategic partners, and vendors at a senior level to

enable continuous improvement mindset and implementation

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal/external stakeholders

and provide on-going management of these strategic partnerships and

responsibility to ensure reporting and communications is frequent and multi

directional while being a point of escalation for IFM, globally

  • Work with procurement, RE&F leads, and legal to manage and maintain a source

of truth for all IFM related contracts and associated documentation.

  • Continuously improve the governance structure to manage the delivery of a

broad range of services in support of Oracle's business operations, ensuring

services are delivered effectively and operational platforms are maintained

according to SLAs and KPIs

  • Develop short and long-term plans for improving the effectiveness and efficiency

of the service operations that will generate a significant, positive impact on the

business unit and ensure the integrated workstream model is operating

effectively

  • Review and analyze performance, financial, and service data and recommend

operational changes for improved efficiencies

  • Ensure quality of service delivery is consistent and cost effective across all

locations

  • Build and maintain understanding of the vendor's business strategy, key drivers,

and current issues to provide support and collaboration on service

Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, management, finance, engineering, or related field from an accredited institution

  • 5 to 10 years of Integrated Facilities Management experience

  • Multidisciplinary understanding of real estate, facilities, engineering, construction project management, and environment health & safety (EH&S)

  • Leadership experience in IFM accounts with over $50M in operational expenses

  • Understanding of contracts and commercial FM models in the market

  • High level of personal credibility, integrity and client relationship management, networking, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

  • Background in continuous improvement, change management, service mindset, and enterprise leadership

  • Demonstrated track record in the development & implementation of strategic plans

  • Ability to work at an Oracle campus at least three days per week.

  • Located within thirty miles (commute distance) to a major Oracle hub campus highly preferred

  • Relocation assistance may be considered for candidates relocating to a location within commute distance to an Oracle campus
