Job Summary:
The Sr. Design Specialist supports the design, layout, and visual planning of new grocery store locations, remodels and special projects. This role ensures that all store environments reflect the company's brand, operational standards, and customer experience goals, while incorporating functionality, aesthetics, and cost-efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain division prototypical drawings and files using AutoCad
- Identify and document props, furniture, hardware and lighting using subject matter expertise in design methodologies
- Use artistic skills or computer-aided design (CAD) packages to create visuals and plans.
- Translate leadership concepts and ideas into the creation and direction of all corporate & vendor fixturing programs. Research and recommend innovations in layout, fixture design, sustainability, and customer experience relevant to the grocery industry.
- Provide support to resolve and respond to team members' and store issues regarding design and presentation issues
