    CTG is seeking to fill a Sr. Data Governance Consultant position for our client.

     

    Location: Philadelphia, PA
    Duration: 12 months

     

    Duties:

    • Design, implement, and maintain data governance and data management processes across business and technical environments.

    • Conduct stakeholder analysis and develop communication plans to support data governance initiatives.

    • Develop and maintain metadata management repositories and document business definitions, data standards, and data quality rules.

    • Establish and maintain data governance policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.

    • Profile data and identify data quality issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

    • Design data quality reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to monitor governance and data quality objectives.

    • Partner with technical teams to implement data quality rules and automate data quality monitoring and reporting.

    • Support governance tool implementation and administration, including metadata, data quality, and issue management processes.

    • Facilitate data issue identification, tracking, prioritization, and resolution with business and technical stakeholders.

    • Develop strategic data governance roadmaps and support program planning, execution, and performance tracking.

    • Provide guidance and recommendations to business stakeholders regarding data governance, data quality, metadata management, and data management best practices.

    • Develop and deliver training and communications to promote data governance adoption and organizational change.

    • Coordinate resources and collaborate across cross-functional teams to drive governance initiatives and process improvements.

    Experience:

    • 8+ years of experience in data governance, data management, analytics, business process improvement, or a related field.

    • Proven experience designing and implementing data governance and data management processes.

    • Experience with data profiling, data quality, metadata management, and governance technologies.

    • Hands-on experience with tools such as Collibra, Databricks, and Soda.

    • Strong SQL and Python experience for data analysis, reporting, and data quality activities.

    • Experience developing governance policies, documenting standards, and ensuring data quality compliance.

    • Experience working with business and technical stakeholders to define and implement data quality rules.

    • Experience developing data quality reports and dashboards and automating monitoring and reporting processes.

    • Strong program management experience, including strategic planning, roadmap development, performance tracking, and resource coordination.

    • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, training users, and supporting organizational change.

    • Strong ability to communicate complex data governance concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Business, or a related field preferred.

    • Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered.

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
