Senior Data Governance Analyst
Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 12+ months
Position Summary:
Seeking for a Senior Data Governance Analyst to enhance enterprise data governance by integrating people, processes, and technology. Collaborate with various stakeholders to translate governance policies into sustainable business processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data governance principles and the ability to analyze complex business and data management challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes to identify governance gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate requirements elicitation and process design for governance initiatives.
- Translate governance policies into actionable business requirements and workflows.
- Support process implementation and continuous improvement for sustainable governance practices.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and ensure consistent governance practices.
- Support data owners in implementing governance policies and monitoring effectiveness.
- Facilitate data quality issue resolution and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in senior-level business analysis, requirements elicitation, and process improvement.
- Advanced facilitation skills for cross-functional sessions and decision-making.
- Ability to design and support sustainable business processes.
- Working knowledge of enterprise data governance concepts.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Five or more years of experience in business analysis or related functions.
Education:
A bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience and relevant certifications may be considered.
