Introduction

The Clams Technology team is seeking a skilled professional to join as a Senior Oracle Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture and Oracle development, with a focus on optimizing ETL processes and real-time operational services.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Governance, and Data Warehousing environments, particularly in the financial industry.
• Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and understand data across different systems and multiple claims products.
• Strong working experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
• Experience in reverse engineering and documenting data flow asset diagrams.
• Experience building high-performance ETL Data Frameworks with error handling and scalability.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau (preferred) or Power BI.
• Experience or exposure to Python, Hadoop, and Gen AI/ML.
• Financial Services/Banking industry experience is a plus.
• Strong analytics and communication skills, including the ability to drive diverse groups towards common goals.
• 3 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
• Unix/Python scripting experience.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Review and optimize the E2E ETL process and real-time operational services.
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data requirements in Data Warehouse environments.
• Establish a metadata catalog for data management across various products.
• Improve and streamline processes regarding data flow and data quality to enhance data accuracy, viability, and value.
• Create documentation for all activities and work with the project solution team in design and code development.
