    Job Title: Sr. Data Analyst / Data Analyst – Clinical Trial Foundations (AI/Claude Integration)

    Location:Indianapolis, IN (Downtown / Hybrid) OR Full Remote

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join the Clinical Trial Foundations team for an initial 8-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension. This role sits at the intersection of clinical data operations and artificial intelligence, leveraging Anthropic’s Claude AI to optimize, structure, and prepare complex clinical trial datasets for downstream consumption.The ideal candidate has strong data analysis expertise, a deep understanding of data structures, and experience or interest in using Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate and scale data workflows.

    Responsibilities:
    • Analyze large, complex clinical trial datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and readiness for downstream applications.
    • Partner with engineering teams to utilize Claude AI for data extraction, text summarization, normalization, and entity recognition within clinical documentation.
    • Structure and optimize data outputs to ensure seamless integration with downstream analytics platforms, reporting tools, and business intelligence systems.
    • Establish data quality benchmarks and perform rigorous validation of AI-generated outputs against source clinical documents.
    • Collaborate with clinical data scientists, AI engineers, and domain experts to refine data pipelines and foundational data models.
    Requirements:
    • 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, data profiling, and data mapping.
    • Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and utilizing data manipulation tools such as Python/Pandas, R, or SAS.
    • Deep understanding of relational databases, JSON/XML data formats, and data warehousing concepts.
    • Proven ability to identify data anomalies, track down root causes, and clean unstructured data.
    • Hands-on experience working with API outputs, prompt engineering, or validating data generated by LLMs such as Claude or GPT models is preferred.
    • Prior experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or clinical trial data management, including CDISC, SDTM, or ADaM standards, is preferred.
