Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer with extensive experience in Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) to provide direct operational and administrative support for Zscaler SSE services, including ZTN, ZIA, ZDX, and policy optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end user support, incident management, and troubleshooting, ensuring optimal performance and usability of Zscaler services.
Responsibilities:
Provide operational and administrative support for Zscaler SSE services, including ZTN, ZIA, ZDX, and policy management.
Assist end users with incidents related to Zscaler ZIA and ZPA, addressing performance, access, and usability issues.
Engage in follow up and troubleshooting of support incidents, managing both current and backlog issues.
Assess open tickets and incidents, collaborating with team members to ensure timely remediation or closure.
Identify and analyze recurring incident patterns to determine root causes and implement solutions.
Drive policy optimization efforts based on communicated risk tolerances, balancing performance and service availability.
Assist with ZCC (Client) updates and N version changes as required, including testing and production updates.
Mandatory Skills:
Proven experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles and implementations.
Strong understanding of Zscaler services, particularly ZIA and ZPA.
Experience in incident management and troubleshooting within network security environments.
Ability to analyze and optimize policies based on risk assessments and performance metrics.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Zscaler ZDX and its operational capabilities.
Experience with network security frameworks and best practices.
Knowledge of cloud security principles and practices.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7 10 years of experience in network security engineering or a related role.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCSP, CISSP, or equivalent) are a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
