Day-to Day-Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform financial analysis, underwriting, credit administration, monitoring, and due diligence for assigned official loans, excess loans, loan participation packages, direct loan relationships, and other commercial or agricultural credit opportunities.
  • Analyze borrower financial statements, cash flow, collateral, repayment capacity, industry conditions, risk trends, and transaction structures to assess creditworthiness and portfolio risk.
  • Support structuring, evaluation, and negotiation of complex credits, including large loans, participations, correspondent lending relationships, and other specialized transactions.
  • Monitor assigned participation and portfolio relationships to identify emerging risks, performance trends, covenant concerns, servicing needs, and other matters requiring attention or escalation.
  • Assist Directors and Credit leadership in the analysis, servicing, reporting, and ongoing management of the Bank's loan participations and related portfolio activity.
  • Interpret, communicate, and provide guidance to associations regarding sound lending practices, credit policies, financial analysis, and portfolio considerations.
  • Review and help resolve legal, title, collateral, documentation, and other credit-related questions that arise during underwriting, servicing, or transaction execution.
  • Support development, administration, and enhancement of lending programs, operating procedures, and practices related to lending operations and portfolio management.
  • Assist in development and closing of complex loans by supporting analysis, structuring, negotiation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support development and maintenance of loan participation and correspondent banking relationships with other lenders and financial institutions.
  • Manage assigned participation loan relationships and provide timely follow-up on servicing, monitoring, reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Develop industry analysis, peer group analysis, portfolio analysis, and related credit materials to support decision-making, portfolio oversight, and special projects.
  • Prepare clear, well-supported credit analysis, underwriting documents, portfolio summaries, and recommendations for leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Assist other Bank personnel in completing coordinated projects, portfolio reviews, and credit-related initiatives as assigned.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
