Sr. Cost Analyst

Sparks Group, partnered with a nationally renowned forward-thinking government contractor seeking an experienced Secret-cleared Sr. Cost Analyst professional to support program managers in the development and execution of complex cost and pricing initiatives. This role will leverage advanced analytical and industry expertise to develop innovative solutions, assess program costs and risks, analyze strategic pricing and deliver actionable insights to key stakeholders and senior leadership. Key Responsibilities

• Support program managers with cost analysis, strategic pricing, and research and development initiatives across corporate programs.
• Develop detailed Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs), Independent Cost Estimates (ICEs), Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates, and other pricing products using appropriate estimating methodologies.
• Collect, validate, normalize, and analyze historical cost data while applying inflation indices, learning curves, risk assessments, and uncertainty distributions.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, logisticians, and program managers to assess technical requirements, risks, and cost impacts.
• Translate complex cost models and quantitative analysis into clear reports and presentations for senior leadership while mentoring and supporting junior team members.

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cost analysis, strategic pricing, financial analysis, or a related field.
• Experience developing LCCEs, ICEs, ROM estimates, and other cost/pricing models using multiple estimating methodologies.
• Knowledge of inflation analysis, estimating methodologies, and Department of War (DoW) Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree and an active Secret security clearance.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment and quickly develop customized cost solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) applications.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of cost-related Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) development and modifications.
