Are you an experienced finance leader with a strong background in mortgage servicing and enterprise accounting? This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of key financial operations, lead a high-performing accounting team, and drive process improvements within a growing financial services organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead accounting, payroll, and accounts payable functions across multiple business entities.
- Oversee financial reporting, month-end closing, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Manage external audits, regulatory compliance, and internal financial controls.
- Oversee cash flow, balance sheet reconciliations, and debt reporting.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and mortgage servicing accounting requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and operational efficiency.
- Develop, mentor, and lead the accounting team.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent professional certification.
- 15+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- At least 10 years in senior accounting roles within mortgage servicing or relevant financial services, including Controller-level experience.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing financial audits.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, mortgage servicing rights (MSR) valuation, investor reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical, leadership, and communication abilities.
