Sr. Consultant – Safety, Environment & Facilities

We are seeking an experienced HSE Leader to manage Health, Safety, and Environmental operations at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong environmental compliance expertise, wastewater treatment experience, and the ability to lead and mentor an existing HSE team.

• Lead and mentor the existing HSE team.

• Develop and improve environmental compliance programs.

• Support wastewater treatment system implementation and startup.

• Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations.

• Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations.

• Identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Facilities, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.

• Maintain workplace safety and environmental standards.

• Experience in HSE leadership within pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments.

• Previous experience as an HSE Manager, Senior Manager, Associate Director, or Director.

• Strong knowledge of environmental compliance and U.S. environmental regulations.

• Experience with wastewater treatment operations or environmental projects.

• Experience leading and mentoring teams.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work 100% onsite in Elwood, Kansas.

Preferred: Pharmaceutical manufacturing, sterile/aseptic operations, wastewater system startup, and interim leadership experience.
