Title: Sr. Commercial Auto Claims Specialist

Summary:
An A+ (AM Best) is looking for a Sr. Commercial Auto Claims Specialist to take the lead on complex, high-severity auto and trucking claims nationwide. You will own strategy, investigation, and coverage while driving impactful outcomes, and leading negotiations. The ideal candidate will have nationwide commercial auto claims handling expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of complex commercial auto, trucking, and transportation claims nationwide, driving investigations and resolutions on high-exposure matters.
- Evaluate coverage, liability, damages, and claim trends to develop strategic action plans and achieve favorable outcomes on challenging losses.
- Lead the handling of large-loss and technically sophisticated claims, navigating complex coverage issues and partnering with legal counsel when necessary.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by presenting claim analyses, reserve recommendations, and insights that influence business decisions.
- Play a key role in shaping the claims organization through mentorship, process improvement initiatives, industry benchmarking, and participation in mediations, trials, and other high-stakes proceedings.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years handling commercial auto claims, nationwide
- Strong skills in coverage and litigation
- Clear, professional communication internally and externally
- Organized, self-directed, and able to meet deadlines consistently
