Job role: Sr. Cloud Security Engineer

Duration: 3 month Contract to Hire

Location: Hybrid, 3 days per week in Santa Monica, CA 90404

Job Summary:

In general, we are seeking an experienced security professional with deep expertise in cloud security architecture, engineering, and operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience securing cloud environments, implementing, and managing security controls, supporting incident response activities, and collaborating closely with IT and engineering teams to strengthen the organization's overall security posture.

Key areas of focus include:

• Cloud security (primarily Microsoft Azure but open to other platforms)
• Identity and access management
• Security monitoring and incident response
• Vulnerability management
• Security architecture and best practices
• Endpoint and infrastructure security

Additional points to consider:

• Industry Experience: We are open to candidates from other industries; however, financial services experience is preferred. Healthcare or Big Tech would be reasonable alternative industries to consider.
• At a minimum, candidates should have a strong understanding of operating within a regulated environment and the associated security, compliance, and risk management requirements.
