• Strong, 5-10 years of experience as a Project Manager in a large, enterprise IT environment
• Strong experience managing Cloud initiatives (ideally Azure but other cloud platforms are acceptable)
• Experience leading AI initiatives
• Must be an exceptional written and verbal communicator

Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading enterprise-scale Azure and AI initiatives from concept through deployment. This role oversees project timelines, resource planning, schedules, budgets, risk management, and cross-functional delivery while ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with experience delivering cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure and AI-driven technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocations.
• Manage multiple concurrent Azure and AI initiatives while ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Establish project governance, reporting cadence, and executive-level status communications.
• Monitor progress against key milestones and proactively address schedule variances.

• Deliver Azure and AI projects on schedule and within budget.
• Improve predictability through effective planning, governance, and risk management.
• Increase adoption of AI-enabled business solutions.
• Provide accurate executive reporting and proactive issue resolution.

The ideal candidate for this role has 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience. Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation. Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures. Develops project plan and drives project milestones. Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders. Provides day-to-day direction to project resources. Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project. Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets. Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills. specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word.
