Schwab Stock Plan Services (SPS) supports large, publicly traded companies with comprehensive equity compensation solutions. As a Senior Client Service Administrator, you will play an important role in supporting our top-tier Large Market and Mega Market clients, serving as a trusted operational partner for our most complex and high-profile relationships. This role requires strong judgment, independent decision-making, and the ability to navigate complex client situations, balancing risk, service, and operational considerations. You will help manage daily service needs, lead high-impact client events, resolve escalations, and provide strategic operational support while delivering exceptional client experience.

    • Client partnership and service ownership: Serve as a trusted operational resource for corporate clients and internal partners, providing guidance, thoughtful problem solving, and proactive follow-through for complex service needs.
    • Event and operational execution: Coordinate high-profile client events, transaction inquiries, product questions, data feed issues, and service requests to ensure key tasks are completed accurately and on time.
    • Escalation management: Own escalated emails and phone calls from internal and external clients, assess risk, communicate clearly, and escalate barriers or client needs to SPS leaders when appropriate.
    • Consultative support: Lead conversations that help corporate clients and service teams understand best practices, resolve plan-related issues, and identify practical process improvements.
    • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with Conversion, Client Services, Technology, and other SPS teams to align priorities, remove obstacles, and deliver consistent client experience.
    • Mentorship and team support: Help onboard and mentor new Client Service Administrators by sharing knowledge, modeling best practices, and providing backup support when coverage or workload needs arise.
    • Professional leadership: Model Schwab's culture through accountability, collaboration, professionalism, and a strong client-first mindset.

    In this role, you will help strengthen the SPS client experience by combining operational expertise, sound judgment, and Schwab's client-first culture to support corporate clients, participants, and internal partners with confidence and care.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
    • Strong organizational skills, time-management, attention to detail, and the ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Client-service judgment: Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, follow through on commitments, assess risk, make informed decisions, and escalate when needed.
    • Technical and operational strength: Comfortable working across multiple systems while remaining organized and accurate; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Trusted leadership presence: Confidence serving as a reliable point of contact, providing backup manager support when appropriate, and modeling quality, process adherence, and thoughtful issue resolution.
    • Flexibility: Ability to support clients across time zones, peak periods, client events, and urgent business needs; overtime may be required with short notice.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 4+ years of experience in customer service, corporate client support, benefits, financial services, brokerage, or equity compensation.
    • Equity compensation knowledge: ECA or CEP designation; Schwab EquiView experience or familiarity with stock plan administration workflows, reporting, and event-related processing.
    • Relationship building: Experience supporting clients in a B2B service model, building trust with stakeholders, and communicating effectively with internal partners to support client projects and service delivery.

    In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
