As a Senior Claims Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing complex and unusual claims. Your responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting and making decisions on policy coverages.
• Managing investigative activities and directing litigation strategies.
• Analyzing claims activity and preparing detailed reports.
• Establishing reserves and authorizing payments within your authority.
• Settling claims promptly and equitably.
• Developing subrogation and third-party recovery potential.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4-8 years of technical claims investigations/settling experience.
• Workers Compensation (WC) Adjuster License as per jurisdictional requirements.
• Strong written and oral communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferences

• Industry designations such as IIA, AIC, AEI, and/or CPCU.
• California Self-Insured Certificate.
