About the Role

Join our team as a Civil CAD Designer, where you’ll play an important role in bringing civil engineering projects to life through detailed, high-quality design plans. Using AutoCAD Civil 3D, you’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and project managers on a variety of projects, including site development, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design. Responsibilities

• Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Prepare and revise civil engineering plans, including site layouts, grading, drainage, utility, and roadway plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Assist with preparation of construction details, exhibits, quantity takeoffs, and plan set documentation.
• Interpret engineering markups, design criteria, and project specifications to produce accurate construction documents.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure plans comply with company standards, project requirements, and applicable agency criteria.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to incorporate design revisions and resolve drafting conflicts.
• Support project teams in meeting design milestones, deadlines, and submittal requirements.
• Maintain organized project files, drawing standards, and CAD data throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Education

• Associates or technical degree in Drafting/Design preferred.

Experience

• Typically, 7+ years of experience.

The estimated starting hourly rate for this role is $35.00-$43.00.
