Job Title: Sr CAD Technician - Curtain Wall
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Pay Rate: $70K - $95K (Depending on Background)

Our industry-leading client is hiring a Sr CAD Technician - Curtain Wall, for a permanent, full-time opportunity in Elk Grove Village, IL.
Requirements:
  • AutoCAD proficient
  • Ability to read architectural and structural plans
  • Revit and Inventor familiarity a plus
  • Basic skills in Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with standard drafting practices
  • 2+ years of experience in the production of construction documents
  • Previous experience in the architectural aluminum industry is a plus.
  • Team player with excellent communication and follow through skills
  • Candidate expected to reside in the Chicago Metropolitan area
Job Description:
  • Produce shop drawings including floor plans, elevations, and details
  • Interpret & coordinate structural calculations with shop drawings
  • Produce fabrication drawings
  • Create and maintain BIM Models
  • Create and maintain product literature
  • Other duties may be assigned
