    Description

    SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Sr Business Systems Analyst II - Cloudfor a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. Candidate will serve as a senior business systems analyst supporting cloud migration initiatives and translating complex business needs into practical technical solutions. The role will act as a key bridge between business and IT teams, guiding requirements, Agile delivery, solution validation, and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.

    Required Qualifications of the Sr Business Systems Analyst II – Cloud:

    • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
    • 8+ years of IT business analysis experience.
    • Demonstrated experience serving as an Agile Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Business Analyst.
    • Experience supporting cloud-hosted applications and cloud migration initiatives.
    • Strong experience gathering, analyzing, validating, and documenting business and user requirements.
    • Experience working with Agile teams and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
    • Experience with test management tools such as TestRail or ALM and the ability to review test plans and test matrices.
    • Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical, conceptual, facilitation, negotiation, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor less experienced analysts.

    Preferred Skills/Experience of the Sr Business Systems Analyst II – Cloud:

    • Medicare or healthcare industry experience.
    • Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
    • Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud-based analytics pipelines.
    • Understanding of version control, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
    • Experience supporting cloud migration, modernization, or enterprise technology transformation initiatives.
    • Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and cloud solution delivery practices.

    Responsibilities of the Sr Business Systems Analyst II – Cloud:

    • Lead the discovery, analysis, documentation, and validation of business requirements, ensuring proposed cloud solutions align with customer objectives and technical capabilities.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted liaison between business stakeholders, developers, testers, and other IT teams throughout complex projects.
    • Guide Agile delivery activities, including user story development, prioritization, team collaboration, stand-ups, presentations, and solution discussions.
    • Evaluate proposed solutions and system changes, review test plans and matrices, analyze issues, and help ensure implementations meet documented business requirements.
    • Communicate the broader business direction and solution objectives to technical teams while mentoring less experienced analysts and helping them understand business processes and priorities.
