Sr. Business SME
Epitec is seeking a Sr. Business SME to support application development and support initiatives within a large public-sector IT environment. This individual will provide senior-level business and application support, working with technical and business teams to help support application needs, requirements, processes, and ongoing technology initiatives.

- Location: Remote
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Projected Start Date: December 7, 2026
- Projected End Date: June 30, 2027
- Travel: None
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required
- Pay Range: $74-$80/hr
Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level business subject matter expertise supporting application development and application support initiatives.
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to understand application needs, requirements, workflows, and priorities.
- Assist with requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and communication between business and IT teams.
- Support application-related projects and ongoing operational needs.
- Help identify business-process improvements and assist with resolving application and workflow issues.
- Prepare clear documentation and communicate project requirements, issues, and solutions to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Senior-level experience supporting business applications, application development, or IT projects.
- Strong business analysis and requirements-gathering skills.
- Experience working between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong documentation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience supporting government, education, or other large enterprise environments is a plus.
